Open Art 2.

Det finns en staty av Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson på Stortorget i Örebro. Han var en frihetskämpe som föddes i slutet av 1300-talet och han mördades 1436. Den övre bilden är inte tagen med min mobilkamera. Den togs vid invigningen av statyn 1865. Då hade Nicolaikyrkan inte fått sin nya tornhuv ännu. Alla bilder på sajten utom den här är tagna med mobilkamera. Då den här togs fanns det inte ens telefoner.

There's a statue of Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson at Stortorget in Orebro. He was fighting for freedom and he was born in the end of 14th century. He was murdered 1436. The upper picture is not shot with my mobile camera. It is from 1865 when the statue was inaugurated. That was before the new look of the Nicolai church. All, pictures on this site except this one were shot with my mobile camera. When this picture was shot there were no telephones at all!

På Open Art 2015 som pågår nu har konstnären Antonio O’Connells verk ”Open House” byggts upp runt statyn. Verket har en trappa upp till en plattform cirka 5 meter över gatuplanet så att man kan komma nära de översta delarna av Engelbrektsstatyn. Då ser huvudet ut så här!

At Open Art 2015 that goes on now the artist Antonio O’Connell's work ”Open House” has been built up around the statue. The work has stairs and a platform about 5 metres above the square. That allows people to come up to the top of the statue and then the head of Engelbrekt looks like this!
