Här är hon vid bryggan där hon vänder tillbaka mot Stockholm.
Väsbystrand på Ljusterö. Storskär fyller 100 år i år.
Here she is at the bridge where she is turning back to
Stockholm. Vasbystrand at Ljustero in the Stockholm archipelago.
Storskar is celebrating her 100 years of age this year.

"Kvart i femman" är en legendarisk båttur sedan 1969,
måndag till fredag på sommaren. Fredagen 12/9
kördes säsongens sista tur med Storskär.
"4.45 pm" is a legend since 1969. It's a ship trip Monday
to Friday in the summer time. September 12th was
the last for this season with the steamer Storskar.

Orkestern spelar mest gammal storbandsjazz från 1920-
och 30-talet. De är 12 man och det är en fantastisk
upplevelse att sitta på första raden 40 cm från saxofonsektionen.
Vilket ljud och vilken precision!
The orchestra is playing old big band jazz mainly from
the 1920ies and 30ies. They are 12 musicians and
it is an fantastic feeling to sit about 40 cm from the saxophone
section. What a sound and what a precision!

Kustbandet spelade på akterdäck. Matsalen var fullbokad
och det var en mycket trivsam stamning.
Kustbandet (the orchestra) played at the poop deck. The
dining room was full and there was a very cosy atmosphere.

Från akterdäck såg jag solen försvinna bakom
siluetten av Stockholm och Gamla Stan. Solen gick ner
19.15 torsdagen 11/9.
From the after-deck I saw the sun disappear behind
the Stockholm skyline and gamla Stan. The sunset was at
7.15 pm lokal time Thursday September 11th.

Då de grå molnen försvann efter 10 dagar och solen
äntligen visade sig igen åkte jag på en musikkryssning
med ångbåten Blidösund. Det var nästan fullsatt.
When the grey clouds disappeared after 10 days
and the sun at last was visible again I went for a
music cruise with the old steamer Blidosund. She
was almost fully booked.
